Progressive Legal Accreditation Information
Our legal CPD courses are accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC), Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX), The Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Institute of Paralegals, College of Mediators and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
How much CPD do you need?
Solicitors
You need 16 hours CPD each year.
All of our courses are SRA accredited. In the first three years of practice the SRA stipulate that you must attend a Management Stage One Course accrediting you with 7 hours CPD.
Your CPD year runs from 1 November to 31 October.
Legal Executives
- Fellows and Legal Accounts Executives need 16 hours CPD
- Associate Prosecutor members need 16 hours CPD
- Graduate members need 12 hours CPD
- Associate members need 8 hours CPD.
Fellows who are ILEX Advocates are required to complete 5 hours advocacy skills training as part of their 16 hours requirement.
Your CPD year runs from 1 January to 31 December.
All of our courses are accredited by ILEX.
Paralegals
As a Certified Paralegal, Associate or Student Member of the Institute of Paralegals, you need to undertake 12 hours CPD each year.
Your CPD year matches your own membership year.
All of our courses are accredited by the Institute.
Licensed Conveyancers
The amount of CPD to be undertaken during the year is as follows:
- Limited License holders need 6 CPD hours
- Full License holders need 12 CPD hours
Your CPD year runs from 1 November to 31 October.
All our property & probate courses are accredited by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers.
STEP Members
You need 15 hours structured CPD a year.
Your CPD year runs from 1 April to 31 March.
You may claim the full running time of all our Private Client courses for STEP purposes.
Family Mediators
As a member of the College of Mediators you need 10 hours CPD each year.
All our family courses are accredited by the College.
Association of Personal Injury Members
All APIL members accredited as Litigator, Senior Litigator, Fellow and Senior Fellow must complete 16 hours of APIL accredited CPD annually.

A selection of our Civil Litigation courses are now APIL accredited.
